This week I was at my wits end ready to throw in the towel homeschooling all together. Someone shared your post and I don't feel quite so alone anymore. Now, just add 3 more children in there (as Winter, my oldest, is just 2 weeks older than Levi) and no wonder I'm not getting all that wonderful schoolwork done that you do!

I have 4 old enough for school right now, but in March, we'll add a 5th one to the roster, as she'll turn 5.

Right now, mine are 10, 9, 7 1/2, 6, 4 1/2, 2 1/2, and 5 months.

I love what you're doing with school. You're always an inspiration.

Does Lola like to paint? Washable watercolors might work for part of school time.

BrandyThe Prudent Homemakerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13229771550830911638noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5750282299627894194.post-44579539471153928192012-09-21T04:21:38.297-07:002012-09-21T04:21:38.297-07:00This is exactly, every-word-literally, how I feel ...This is exactly, every-word-literally, how I feel about my 2 year old boy. He's been climbing out of his play pen for almost a year, loves to climb high areas and jump off them, and can open the front door and *leave the house*. I'm telling you, this kid smells weakness! But thank the good Lord he's cute - sometimes I think that's the only reason he's still alive...:)Kellyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01494638617649883846noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5750282299627894194.post-1381877596992274432012-09-20T20:23:01.740-07:002012-09-20T20:23:01.740-07:00You do have your hands full Heidi!!!!I wish I coul...You do have your hands full Heidi!!!!I wish I could help you but then she probably wouldn't come to me anyway. Unless she is better about that than when you were here in July. Grandpa says to say hi from him also. Everything you said is familiar to me (and my older three kids).

I *think* a three-year-old should be easier next year, if I remember from my last 3-year-old (now 6).

Christiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09946014050009367757noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5750282299627894194.post-85520580809275031032012-09-20T19:59:18.052-07:002012-09-20T19:59:18.052-07:00Looking back, I'd say this is one of the main ...Looking back, I'd say this is one of the main culprits of our homeschool challenges last year. She WILL NOT go play by her self or even beside us. She wants to do everything we're doing. And she LOVES the CC timeline song and gets so excited when I put it on! :)Daniellehttp://www.danielleayersjones.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5750282299627894194.post-50207459084670292112012-09-20T18:38:30.950-07:002012-09-20T18:38:30.950-07:00Oh some of this is SO familiar to me and my two-ne...Oh some of this is SO familiar to me and my two-next-week boy. I am terrified of the climbing from cribs and pack and plays, which is why I haven't used them to confine him in months. I taught him to stay in the living room with us while we read, but that doesn't keep him from yelling at the top of his lungs...Terri Hnoreply@blogger.com
