A big ol' waterslide park seems a perfect fit for your thrill-seeking, daredevil boys!!

We JUST drove by there not even an hour ago and Beth was begging to go. I informed her that the big prize at the end of the library's summer reading program was a trip to that pool. Not that we usually need more motivation to read around here, but she was still mightily impressed. What's your opinion of that place for little kids (like my just barely 2-year-old). Will it be too big, too much, too scary??

Hi, Jen! There is a great wading area. I love having such a shallow spot with littles. There is *a lot* of spraying water, though, some of which is controlled by children. It depends on how brave your 2 year old is. My almost 2 year old went down the big slide with Daddy, enjoyed the 'river' (being held) and splashed around in the outskirts of the wading area, but didn't like so much spraying water. It would be hard to have more than one child who needed much attention. Luke wanted to go *up* the little slide and climb on stuff he wasn't supposed to. I was really glad Russ was there or we wouldn't have made it. :) Hopefully we'll be at the library party, too, so maybe we'll see you there. :)

My kids beg me to take them when we drive by as well.=) I always say, "maybe someday!" We did go last summer and it was great fun!

Not sure how I found your blog, but I love it!! Just read thru all your "Project Heidi" posts and loved the candle wrapped in paper idea. I am so ripping off that idea. As an aside, we start homeschooling this Fall.

I just drove past that waterslide last night...on our way to another...you guessed it...baseball game.
